La Zambra Resort is a 5-star Grand Lux hotel of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, set in the Mijas Golf valley between Fuengirola and Mijas, right beside the two Mijas Golf courses, with a hotel shuttle service to both.

The property opened in the mid-1980s as the Hotel Byblos Andaluz, sister to the Byblos in Saint-Tropez, and for two decades hosted guests such as Princess Diana, Julio Iglesias and the Rolling Stones. It closed in 2010 and reopened in September 2022 as La Zambra, fully renovated behind the original white facade and blue towers. The name comes from the zambra, a flamenco dance of Granada and Almeria.

The hotel has 196 rooms and suites (105 superior rooms and 91 suites), all with private balconies and king or twin beds.

There are four restaurants, among them Picador for Andalusian cooking and Palmito for all-day Mediterranean dishes, a sunset terrace bar, the Mood Spa of around 2,000 m2 with hammam and indoor pool, two outdoor pools facing the Sierra de Mijas, a gym, tennis and padel courts and a kids club. Buffet breakfast is included in all packages, and half board is available as supplement.

Mijas Golf Los Lagos and Los Olivos sit next to the hotel, with Santana, Chaparral and La Cala within a 15 minute drive. The coast at Fuengirola is about 3 km away and Malaga airport around 25 minutes by car. Below options for 7 and 4 night stays.
