BQ Andalucía Beach is a four-star hotel on the Paseo Marítimo de Poniente in Torre del Mar, on the eastern Costa del Sol, with the beach across the promenade. Built in 2003 as Hotel Proamar, it now belongs to the BQ Hotels group and has 161 rooms.
Packages are based on a Double room with breakfast; Lateral Sea View doubles are available. Rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe, a fridge, free WiFi and a bathroom with bathtub, and most have a balcony. Buffet breakfast is included, and dinner can be added as half board.
The hotel has an outdoor pool with loungers, a rooftop solarium with the Sky Bar, a café-bar, a fitness area and a 24-hour reception. The wellness area, with Turkish bath, jacuzzi and massages, opens three afternoons a week. Parking is in a covered garage at a daily charge.
Baviera Golf is about 10 minutes away by car at Caleta de Vélez: an 18-hole, par 71 course designed by José María Cañizares at the foot of the Sierra de Almijara, with views over the Mediterranean. A shared buggy is included on every package round.
The town centre and its shops are about 300 m along the promenade. Málaga city centre is about 30 km to the west.
